Clothing: Pair of leggings -shorts or non-baggy sweats. A T-shirt or tank top works.
Shoes: if you have the shoes for the class, wear them; if not, don’t worry
Makeup: If doing a makeup class, please bring your own. If under 10, bring a parent as well
Hair: Back and out of face
Acro - No socks or shoes, please for safety

Classes are prorated at 2.5% per extra hour class taken.

Joy Dorsch
Mezzo-soprano Joy Dorsch is a native of Bellingham, WA. She earned her BMus in Vocal Performance from WWU in 2000 and has since been a soloist with the Bellingham Chamber Players, Whatcom Symphony, Skagit Symphony, Grays Harbor Symphony and Grays Harbor Civic Choir, as well as at churches throughout the area. Operatic roles have included Marcellina in The Marriage of Figaro, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Mrs. Mclean in Susannah, Antonia in Tales of Hoffman, and Don Ettore in La Canterina. Joy is also active as a session singer, with clients including CBS, Microsoft Studios and No Matter Studios. In 2016 she co-founded the Grays Harbor Opera Workshop educational opera program with her husband Ian, and their program is now in its tenth season, presenting two fully staged operas a year. Over the years she has enjoyed vocal directing at the Bishop Center as well as with 7th Street KIDS. Joy is currently president of the Grays Harbor Music Teachers Association. She is also an active member of the Washington State Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, National Association of Teaching of Singing, and The National Opera Association. She maintains a very active private voice studio and teaches at Grays Harbor College.
Ross McCobb
Please welcome Ross to teach sharper lines and cleaning our movements. You may know them from Imagine a Dragon on seventh Street and other roles in local musicals. Ross is excited to work with you guys and teach you guys some new skills that you can use when you get choreography
